MLM Training- Success Notes on Lifestyle from “Lake Twitter”
August 3, 2008
Lifestyle is what we work so hard for.
We are here at the lake house.
We affectionately call it “lake twitter” because of all the twittering/plurking/ powncing/ messaging that occurs here. LOL
It is absolutely gorgeous here this morning.
It is 85 degrees, about 9 am, and the water is like glass. No boats, birds singing, and it is soo beautiful.
Wow.
This what I am describing is LIFESTYLE.
I have been so blessed for so many years to live a life that most dream of, and I am so thankful to the Lord. But it has been also a lot of work and a lot of effort to mainatain such a great life.
I have a good friend, Art Jonak, and I call him the “Lifestyle king” because of the extreme lifestyle he and his wife live. All over the world. Travels constantly. Goes to many countries a year. And that is what we do as well. That is our life.
What about you?
In your home business, you should be focusing on the lifestlye aspects of this business and there are 4 things that you can do to hel that focus along with your prosects.
1) Put a Lifestyle portfolio together and share it with people.
We had one for years. It as simply a “flip book” of photos that we carried with us to show folks that we were talking with. We had pictures of houses, cars, travel, lake places, beach homes, carribbean homes, clothes and fashion, and much more. This was given to the rosect to show what Lifestyle was possible and what we were aiming for.
2 We had travel brochures from Travel Agencies.
We carried these around for years. They were great in getting someone to dream a little about travel and also about where they would like to go. Today, you can get DVDs and show them on yor computer of great locations that will interest anyone to look at.
3) We had travel magazines with us.
Many of us carried some travel magazines and gave them to the prosect to take home and look at. We would ask them to tell us what locations really grabbed their attention and also what photos in the magazine. When they would take them home, many would comment late that they were shocked at all the beautiful locations there were for travel.
4 We would have our own photos of where we had been.
This was a biggie. Everyone like to look at the pictures that we were in our books and also in our own family albums. This showed that the lifestyle we were talking about we were living. Even if you only go to a local beach, take photos as that will add much emotion to the conversation and to the presentation.
The lifestyle part of the conversation was no more than 2 minutes long as we wanted them to just get a taste of the life and not dwell on it. It is better to get their attention and let them ask for more time than dwell on it too long.
2 minutes and go. That is what we taught.
We are filming today for trainings on the web and yes, I am going to be training on the water, in a boat, and on the dock.
Why?
To get folks to see that this is where they are headed and a Network marketing lifestyle is the ONLY way to go. Thank you God.
blessings..doug
