 I said NO- and MEANT IT!

 Many times we have a tendency to stop dead in our tracks when we hear the word “NO.” And that is the WORST thing you can do.

THAT is a mistake and a big one. The word NO can actually lead to a lot of potential business if you let it. In this article, we are going to cover a tip that worked for us for years. We used it everytime that we heard the word NO- and it seems to work amazingly.

Many times, people do three things when they hear the word NO:

1) They FREEZE.

They simply freeze in their tracks and do not attempt anything more. “Oh-ok.” That is the general response and really not the good one.

But that is what a lot of people do.

2) They ARGUE.

That is a HUGE no-no. You never play verbal judo with a prospect. You will lose everytime. Arguing with the prospect is a sign of being an amateur as well.

Keep your cool. Do not let someone determine your business. YOU are in control- so show it and act like you are.

3) They GIVE UP.

Many folks just give up and walk away when they are told NO. They do not understand the value in the word NO nor the Power that it gives you.

Yes, the word NO can give you a Power to continue if you let it. But that is up to you and how you allow the word to impact you.

My suggestion is not to let it control you, but you control it.

And the more that you hear the word NO the more that it is going to strengthen you and empower you.

Ok, what can you do to turn a NO into a Referral?

Easy.
 
Just say this:  “I really appreciate your honesty, and thank you for that. Maybe you can still help me, as I believe you know who I am looking for. Who would you suggest that this would be right for as maybe you could help point me in the right direction. I am still looking for a Leader in this market. Who would you suggest would be worth a conversation?” 

This has worked well for years- and come up with your own version-but it really is a great way to turn NO into a great referral with your Network marketing business!
